Exceptional 2025 Results Across A Levels, Vocational and T Levels.
The City of Stoke-on-Trent Sixth Form College is celebrating another year of outstanding achievement, with 98% of A Level students passing their courses and nearly half achieving the highest A*-B grades*. Vocational and T Level students also excelled, achieved a 99% and 98% pass rate, with excellence across the board, with most subjects reaching 80% high-grade outcomes.

This flexible approach, supported by outstanding teaching, has once again delivered exceptional results — with students excelling in both academic and vocational qualifications and progressing to top universities, high-level apprenticeships, and skilled employment.
- As the first college in the area to deliver T Levels, the City of Stoke-on-Trent Sixth Form College continues to set the standard — achieving a 98% pass rate and 86% high grades in 2025.
- In T Level Health and Finance courses, all students achieved the equivalent of a high grade.
- Technical education continues to thrive at the Sixth Form College contributing to the skills development of the region. As part of their Industry Placement, all students have successfully completed over 315 hours at a range of local, regional and national employer partners including the University Hospital North Midlands Trust, Staffordshire Highways Laboratory, and the Home Office.

Lois is celebrating a phenomenal achievement – A* grades in A Level French and German and an A in A Level History – and is now heading to the University of Cambridge to study History and German.
Passionate about her subjects, Lois excels in both research and debate, producing creative, well-argued work in History and demonstrating outstanding fluency in both French and German. She’s also contributed to college life by supporting open evenings, leading language workshops in local schools, and representing the college on a trip to the Western Front battlefields. Lois is set to thrive at Cambridge and beyond.
I’m very pleased with my results – all my hard work has paid off! My ambition is to work in international relations, and achieving these grades has given me the confidence to go for any job opportunity in the future. Owen is celebrating an outstanding set of A Level results – A grades in Chemistry, Maths and a B in Physics – he is now set to begin a Degree Apprenticeship in Engineering with Ibstock.
A motivated and diligent student, Owen excels in practical Chemistry, consistently ranks among the top in Maths, and has earned a Bronze Award in the British Physics Olympiad. Beyond the classroom, he’s attended a Cambridge University engineering taster and completed key elements of his Duke of Edinburgh Award. With strong problem-solving, communication and practical skills, Owen is ready to succeed in the engineering world. Well done, Owen!
My plan after college is to gain more knowledge and make money. The College has given me the resources to succeed and the opportunity to participate in sports, which gave me a great balance between education and sport. A huge thank you to my family and my teacher, Suzy Cosier, for their support.

A motivated and diligent student, James excels across all subjects and consistently performs at the top of his cohort. He is highly organised, confident in practical work, and demonstrates strong analytical and leadership skills. James has also competed in the Royal Society of Biology and Chemistry Olympiads, earning Silver and Bronze awards. Alongside his studies, he balances extracurricular commitments, including a Duke of Edinburgh expedition and a week-long production, while continuing to challenge himself with extension tasks such as STEP and MAT questions. Eva-Mae is celebrating fantastic success – achieving a Distinction in the T Level Early Years Education – and will now study Primary Education at the University of Chester.
During her time at college, Eva-Mae has completed over 750 hours of Early Years placement, planning and leading purposeful activities that meet individual children’s needs in line with statutory frameworks. She excelled in her Employer Set Project, showing a skilled understanding of how to plan for a learner’s development, and has a thorough grasp of the pedagogy underpinning child development from birth to seven years.
Beyond the classroom, Eva-Mae has been an advocate for her course at college events and has expanded her professional skills through safeguarding, prevent, food hygiene, first aid and baby practitioner training. She is now ready to take the next step towards her dream career in teaching. Congratulations on your fantastic achievement, Eva!

Alongside her academic success, Sophie has gained extensive hands-on experience, completing 40 hours in a local kennel, 120 hours in an animal sanctuary, and 21 hours in a veterinary practice.
